I am keen and enthusiastic, with a great sense of humour. I try to approach everything with a positive manner, making the most of every opportunity that arises. I am highly motivated, exceedingly organised and have good time management.
Teaching
for me is not just a job, a way to make money, but an investment in the young
minds of the future. I value building strong relationships with my students,
developing trust, connections and common points of interest. I take pride in my
classroom environment being bright, inviting and print rich, with a safe
culture and learning focus. I am constantly self-reflecting and changing my
practise to suit the various needs of my students. Likewise, I promote both
self and peer reflection within my students so that they can better meet their
goals. I believe that technology used effectively promotes learning in
students. Through both significant professional development in this area, and
my genuine passion for integrating IT within the classroom, I feel I have the
skills to make this a point of difference in my teaching practice.
